Compensation Claims, Costs analysis and recommendation for Reduction Options

We are seeking a detail-oriented data analyst to conduct a comprehensive review of compensation claims and associated costs .The successful candidate will analyze claims trends, identify cost drivers, and benchmark performance against comparable public safety and corrections organizations. This role requires a strong understanding of occupational health and safety frameworks, compensation legislative requirements, and experience working with large administrative datasets in a federal or public sector environment. The analyst will develop evidence-based recommendations to reduce claim frequency, duration, and overall program costs — with a focus on early intervention strategies, return-to-work program effectiveness, and high-risk occupational categories within correctional settings. Deliverables will include a formal analytical report with prioritized reduction options suitable for presentation to senior leadership. Experience with Treasury Board policies, or federal disability management frameworks is a strong asset.
