Compliance Analyst (AML/ATF)

About Us We are a consulting business in the financial regulatory space. We are seeking a Compliance Analyst to support AML/ATF compliance reviews, risk assessments, and report preparation. Initial clients will be Canadian reporting entities. This is not a data-entry or monitoring role. We are looking for someone capable of producing professional, client-ready work. Responsibilities Your work may include: Reviewing AML/ATF compliance programs Assessing compliance against Canadian regulatory requirements Analyzing client policies, procedures, and operational controls Performing risk assessments Conducting beneficial ownership and sanctions research Reviewing client documentation and identifying compliance gaps Drafting clear, well-organized compliance reports and memoranda Assisting with effectiveness reviews and regulatory advisory projects Required Qualifications Applicants should possess: CAMS designation ( preferred) OR equivalent qualification Minimum 2 years of AML/compliance experience Strong written English Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills Experience preparing professional reports for clients and senior management Excellent attention to detail Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Preferred Experience Experience with one or more of: FINTRAC compliance PCMLTFA Canadian reporting entities Money services businesses (MSBs) Payments and fintech Securities or investment dealers Risk assessments Effectiveness reviews Internal audit Consulting Personal Qualities We are looking for someone who is: Professional Presentable in client meetings over Zoom Organized and reliable Responsive Comfortable discussing complex compliance issues with clients Able to exercise sound judgment Application Requirements Please include: Your résumé.
