Computer Vision Engineer — AI Camera Occupancy Detection

We are a startup building a real time parking visibility platform for campuses and beyond. We need a computer vision engineer to build the AI occupancy detection system that powers our platform! The system uses Axis P3748-PLVE AI cameras with edge processing. No raw video is stored or transmitted. Only structured occupancy data reaches our cloud backend. Deliverables: 1 — Occupancy Detection Model Detect occupied and vacant parking spaces from camera feed. Must work in varying lighting and weather conditions. Target accuracy 90% or higher. 2 — Edge Processing Pipeline Run inference on-camera. Output structured space-level occupancy data via API. 3 — Integration Connect occupancy data output to our Google Cloud backend. Required experience: Computer vision, YOLO or similar object detection models, edge AI deployment, camera API integration. Smart city, parking, or IoT experience preferred. Budget: $5,000 Timeline: MVP in 12 weeks
