2D Concept Artist / Character + Background Designers - Children's Animated Series

We're developing a slate of animated series for children and are looking for talented 2D concept artists to help us find our visual language at proof-of-concept stage. We're hiring for two flavours of this role, and you're welcome to apply for one or both: - Character concept artists — bringing to life a cast of distinct, personality-driven characters (a mix of human, animal and robot designs, each with their own visual identity). - Background/environment concept artists — establishing the look and feel of our worlds. We'll provide detailed briefs once we engage with the right people. What we're after We're not chasing polish. We want rough, quick, exploratory sketches: bold shapes, strong silhouettes, confident world-building, and the kind of loose thinking that shows us who a character is or what a place feels like, fast. Speed and clarity of concept matter more than finish. Important No AI-generated imagery. All work must be original, created by hand or with digital drawing tools. We may ask to see process files or working layers to verify this. Who we're looking for Someone who can work collaboratively, communicate ideas clearly, and move with creative confidence. Your portfolio is everything here. If you have experience designing characters, creatures, or environments for animation, children's media, games, or film, we want to see it.
