Conference Registration & Website Support Specialist
Worldwide
We're specifically looking for someone with experience in: • Cvent registration management • Conference registration management • Conference website updates We are looking for an experienced conference professional to support registration, website updates, and attendee communications for a large international conference project. The project team is based in North America, while the client and many attendees are based in the UK and Europe. We need someone who can provide coverage during European business hours and support the team during high-volume registration and communication periods. This is not an entry level administrative role. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Cvent, conference registration management, and conference website updates, and can step into an active project with minimal onboarding. Availability & Engagement Structure This role runs from July 1, 2026 through January 2027. It is not a traditional hourly contract. You will be contracted to be available from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM GMT to monitor and respond to requests coming through Teams or email from the client. Workload will vary significantly week to week: some weeks may require 10 hours of active work, others as few as 5, and some weeks may require none at all. Compensation will be structured as a set project fee for the full engagement period, rather than an hourly rate. You will be monitoring registration and shared project inboxes, responding to attendee, speaker, exhibitor, and sponsor inquiries, making approved edits on the conference website, supporting registration testing and quality control, assisting with attendee communication, and escalating complex issues to the project team when appropriate. The right candidate brings hands-on Cvent experience, conference or event registration management experience, and a track record of troubleshooting registration issues independently. Experience updating conference websites and strong written communication skills are required. You should be comfortable working independently, managing competing priorities, and exercising sound judgment when the North American team is offline. Experience supporting international conferences and high volume registration launches is a plus. UK or Europe based candidates are strongly preferred to provide time zone coverage. If this is your background, we want to hear from you.
