Construction Project Administrator & Bookkeeper (Direct Report to Controller)

Kesser Construction is a growing residential and commercial construction company seeking a sharp, self-directed Construction Project Administrator to own the back-end operations of our projects. You will sit between our field team and our Controller, turning site scopes and digital drawings into clean, audit-ready proposals, invoices, and job-cost reports. This is not a general virtual assistant role. You must have hands-on experience in construction administration, digital takeoffs, and progress billing. If you know your way around Houzz Pro, Buildertrend, and QuickBooks and can translate a carpenter's field notes into a polished line-item proposal — we want to hear from you. What You'll Own Run digital takeoffs from architectural drawings Build client proposals and progress invoices Log worker hours and track project schedules Enter and tag credit card receipts by job Maintain job-cost reports in QuickBooks Coordinate subcontractor scheduling Hard Requirements (no exceptions) Proven experience with Houzz Pro or Buildertrend — takeoffs, proposals, schedules, and daily logs Hands-on QuickBooks for job-costing and progress billing Solid understanding of construction accounting: change orders, lien waivers, subcontractor billing Ability to read architectural drawings and run digital material takeoffs independently
