M&A Consultant for Business Acquisition in Ghana

About the Project: We are seeking an experienced M&A / Corporate Finance Consultant to provide high-impact financial guidance and analytical support for an upcoming business acquisition project in Ghana. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in financial due diligence, modeling and valuation, helping us navigate the local regulatory landscape and ensure a successful deal lifecycle. Key Responsibilities: - Financial Analysis & Due Diligence: Review target financial statements, historical earnings, cash flows, and balance sheets to uncover risks and validate valuations. - Financial Modeling: Build and stress-test robust financial models and projections to evaluate deal structure, pricing, and return on investment (ROI). - Strategic Advisory: Provide actionable, data-driven insights throughout the negotiation, acquisition, and integration phases. - Regulatory & Compliance Oversight: Ensure that all financial structures, transactions, and reporting align with relevant Ghanaian financial regulations and corporate governance standards. - Independent Execution: Own workstreams autonomously, distilling complex financial data into clear, executive-ready recommendations. Required Qualifications & Skills: i) Proven professional background in Corporate Finance, Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), or Transaction Advisory Services (TAS). ii) Strong command of financial modeling, business valuation methods, and risk assessment. iii) Familiarity with or strong research capabilities regarding the Ghanaian financial and regulatory environment. iv) Exceptional communication skills with the ability to deliver clear, strategic advice in a timely manner.
