# Content Creator & Graphic Designer (Carousels, Graphics, and Reels) ### Choose Your Attitude LLC / ChooseYourAttitude.com + TheNickStrand.com --- ## Who This Is For This is for a designer who leads with visual identity and understands that content for a brand is not just something that looks good. It has to say the right thing to the right person at the right moment. You are a graphic designer first. That is the foundation of this role. Video editing matters and will be part of the work, but if your strength is primarily editing Reels and your design work is secondary, this is not the right fit. We need someone whose design eye is sharp enough to carry a brand, and who can also handle short-form video when the content calls for it. You already know what brand consistency means in practice. You do not need to be told why the fonts, colors, and tone have to match across every post. You already know. That understanding is what gets you in the door. --- ## The Company Choose Your Attitude LLC is a mindset brand built around a real message: your attitude is a choice, no matter what life puts in front of you. That is not a tagline. It is the foundation the entire company was built on. We run two brands you will be directly supporting: **ChooseYourAttitude.com** is the apparel and mindset movement brand. Think bold, community-driven, emotionally resonant. The visual identity lives in the Monarch butterfly, a rich color palette, and a tone that speaks directly to people who are rebuilding, fighting through something, or choosing to rise. **TheNickStrand.com** is the personal speaking and coaching brand targeting entrepreneurs, business leaders, and high performers. The visual language here is polished, credible, and human. Less apparel brand energy, more stage-ready authority with a real personal story behind it. You will start primarily with CYA content and move deeper into the TNS brand as you build familiarity with both. --- ## What You Will Actually Do **Carousel Content.** This is where you will spend a significant portion of your time, especially early on. You need to understand that a carousel is not a slideshow. Each slide has a job. You think about the hook, the flow, the visual hierarchy, and the moment someone stops scrolling. You build carousels that feel intentional from the first frame to the last. **Graphic Content for Social.** Static posts, quote graphics, promotional graphics, product-adjacent content for the apparel brand, and authority-building visuals for the speaking brand. You understand the difference in tone between the two and can shift between them without losing either. **Short-Form Video Editing (Reels).** You will edit Reels and short video content across both brands. This is a real part of the role, not an afterthought. It is not, however, the primary skill we are hiring for. If you are strong in design and solid in video, you are exactly who we are looking for. **Brand Consistency Maintenance.** You are working alongside a content team of two people. Part of your job is making sure the visual output stays consistent, even when content is coming from multiple directions. You flag when something is off. You do not wait to be asked. --- ## What We Need to See From You **Graphic design is the priority.** Your portfolio needs to demonstrate that clearly. We want to see work that shows you understand brand identity, visual hierarchy, and designing for social media audiences specifically. We are particularly interested in examples from the following categories: Brand and fashion content. Apparel brands, lifestyle brands, product-adjacent social content. Clean, editorial, or bold. Show us what you have done in this space. Mental health, mindset, or leadership content. Social media content for coaches, speakers, influencers, or thought leaders in this space. If you have worked with someone whose message is about resilience, mindset, personal development, or leadership, that is directly relevant to what we are building. If you have examples across both categories, lead with those. If your experience skews toward one, show us your strongest work and be honest about where you have more depth. --- ## Tools Tell us what you use. We are not locked into a single platform, but we need to know what is in your toolkit and at what level. Canva at a professional, brand-level depth is acceptable. Adobe Creative Suite experience is a strong plus. If you use other tools for video editing, motion graphics, or design, list them. Be specific about what you use for what. We want to know your actual workflow, not a list of logos you recognize. --- ## Who You Are You take creative direction well and can also work independently when the brief is clear. You do not need someone to approve every design decision. You understand the brand, you build to it, and you ask the one question that actually matters when something is genuinely unclear. You are detail-oriented. A misaligned font, the wrong shade of a brand color, or a layout that is slightly off bothers you before anyone else notices it. That instinct is what we are hiring. You communicate clearly. If a deadline is at risk, you say so early. If you need feedback on a direction before you build ten variations of it, you ask before you build. You are based in the Philippines. The existing team is Philippines-based and we strongly prefer candidates from the same location for team alignment and collaboration. --- ## The Team You Will Work With You will join a content team of two people currently producing five posts per week across the TNS brand, plus additional content across CYA. You will also work alongside a website developer, an email manager, and a digital operations manager. The founder is a keynote speaker who is frequently on the road. The team is expected to keep things moving without waiting to be told what to do next. --- ## Engagement Details This is a part-time contract to start, with the scope growing as you prove your output and reliability. Rate is open based on experience and portfolio strength. Include your rate expectation in your proposal. --- ## How to Apply Generic proposals will not be reviewed. To be considered, your application must include the following. 1. Your portfolio or profile link showing your design work. A Behance, Instagram, website, Google Drive folder, or similar is fine. The work has to be visible. 2. Specific examples in at least one of these two categories: brand or fashion social content; mental health, mindset, or leadership social content. Point us directly to those examples, do not make us hunt for them. 3. The tools you use and what you use each one for. Be specific. 4. A brief description of a project where you built or maintained content for a brand consistently over time, not a one-off. What was the brand, what was your role, and how did you keep the visual identity consistent across multiple posts or formats. 5. Your rate expectation and weekly availability in hours. All communication must happen through Upwork. Do not reach out via email, social media, or any other channel. Any inquiry made outside of Upwork will not be considered, regardless of qualifications. --- If your design work speaks for itself and you are ready to bring that to a brand with a real message behind it, apply.
