We're launching a fresh, high-energy Soca events brand and are looking for a creative Content Creator & Social Media Manager who lives and breathes short-form content. If you understand Caribbean culture, know what makes people stop scrolling, and can turn event footage into viral TikToks and Instagram Reels, we'd love to work with you. Our goal is to build a recognizable lifestyle brand—not just promote events. What You'll Do Develop a monthly content strategy for Instagram and TikTok Create engaging short-form video concepts before, during, and after events Edit Reels and TikToks using trending sounds, transitions, captions, and effects Design carousel posts, graphics, and Stories Write engaging captions with strong calls-to-action Schedule and publish content Monitor comments and DMs (as needed) Research trends within Soca, Caribbean culture, Carnival, music, nightlife, and entertainment Recommend growth strategies to increase followers and engagement Track performance and provide monthly analytics with recommendations Coordinate with photographers, videographers, DJs, and event staff to maximize content opportunities Help create anticipation leading up to events and maintain excitement afterward Ideal Candidate We're looking for someone who: Has experience managing Instagram and TikTok accounts Has a strong portfolio of short-form video content Understands the Soca, Carnival, Caribbean, or nightlife space Knows how to create content that feels authentic—not overly promotional Is creative, proactive, and full of new ideas Understands current social media trends and platform algorithms Has experience using tools such as CapCut, Canva, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar Can work independently and meet deadlines Has excellent written English Bonus Qualifications Experience promoting events or festivals Knowledge of influencer marketing Paid social advertising experience Photography or videography skills Graphic design experience Familiarity with Meta Business Suite, Later, Buffer, or similar scheduling tools Deliverables Each month, we'd expect approximately: 12–20 Instagram Reels 12–20 TikTok videos 8–12 carousel or graphic posts Daily or near-daily Stories around event periods Monthly content calendar Monthly analytics report Community engagement support (optional, depending on experience) To Apply Please include: Links to Instagram or TikTok accounts you've managed.
