Content Finisher: SEO QA + On-Page Editor for a search agency
Worldwide
We're an SEO and AI-search agency. Our team already handles the research and writing across a range of clients. What we need now is the final set of eyes that makes their work genuinely client-ready: someone who improves and finishes existing content and owns the on-page quality check before anything goes to the client. This is not a from-scratch writing role. You won't get blank-page article assignments. You improve, finish, and QA what our team produces, and you catch the things that currently slip through. What you'll do: Be the last quality gate before content reaches the client Improve existing drafts and live pages: tighten the writing, fix the structure, make it read naturally in US English and actually serve the reader Run on-page checks and fix what's off: heading and H1/title alignment, internal linking (the right links, and enough of them), schema and FAQ correctness, meta, image alt text, entity consistency Verify the live implementation after content is published, usually in WordPress. Confirm the on-page settings actually made it onto the live page, not just the doc. Catch what slips today: wrong or missing internal links, missing alt text, British vs US spelling, duplicate or cannibalizing pages, and content that's "technically done" but not client-ready Give a short, clear report on what you checked and what you fixed You're a fit if you have: Native or US-level English. This is a hard requirement. The whole reason this role exists is that subjective, native-level judgment is what's been missing, and we can tell immediately. Strong SEO QA experience, especially on-page An editor's eye and the judgment to make subjective quality calls, not just run a checklist Comfort working directly in WordPress or a similar CMS to verify and fix live pages The discipline to catch the small things and the communication to flag the bigger ones early Nice to have: Ahrefs, SEMrush, Surfer, Screaming Frog, or Google Search Console experience Familiarity with how content gets cited by AI search (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews). A plus, not required. QA experience in regulated or technical niches (insurance, finance, legal, B2B) How we work: Our team handles research and writing. You're the quality gate that makes it client-ready. Clear standards and a real definition of "done," not vague asks Steady, ongoing part-time volume that grows as we do We start with a small paid trial on real content, then move quickly to ongoing work To apply, please include: Start your proposal with the word "juniper" so we know you read this. One or two examples of content you improved or QA'd (a before/after, or a QA report you produced). Please don't send from-scratch writing samples, that's not this role. Walk us through the first five things you check on an article before you'd call it client-ready. Have you QA'd or fixed content directly in WordPress? Briefly, what do you verify on the live page versus in the doc? Your weekly availability and your overlap with US business hours. Your hourly rate. We review every proposal that follows these steps.
