Content Operations & Strategy

CONTENT & OPERATIONS COORDINATOR — MEDIA FOUNDER'S RIGHT HAND --- ABOUT THE ROLE We run a finance and business media operation — a YouTube channel with a loyal and rapidly growing audience, a paid practitioner community, and a private holding company that acquires cash-flowing businesses. The founder is the face, voice, and creative engine. Your job is everything that keeps that engine running. This role requires someone who is exceptional at execution, takes genuine ownership, and operates without hand-holding. You'll touch content strategy, production logistics, talent coordination, brand partnerships, community operations, and travel — often in the same week. If you need your tasks handed to you, this isn't the right fit. If you thrive on building order inside an ambitious, fast-moving operation, this is one of the best seats you'll find. --- CORE RESPONSIBILITIES YOUTUBE — FLAGSHIP VIDEO SERIES The main channel is the center of gravity for this entire operation. It runs on long-form educational content and a set of signature recurring series formats that define the brand. You will own the production infrastructure that makes a consistent, high-quality weekly output possible. - Own the full content calendar — track every video from concept through publish, and keep the pipeline full at all times - Continuously research what's working across the adventure, travel & food, finance, business, and entrepreneurship creator space — formats, hooks, titles, structures — and build a prioritized concept backlog the founder can pull from - Develop and maintain production playbooks for the channel's signature recurring series — defined formats, visual identity standards, episode structures, and publishing cadence - Identify new series concepts worth building, document them with enough detail to evaluate and greenlight, and coordinate the early-stage production work to get them off the ground - Prepare a weekly filming brief: exactly what needs to be filmed, in what order, with what supporting context — so the founder shows up and records, not plans - Coordinate all filming logistics — location, equipment, b-roll shot lists, guest and interview scheduling, and any on-screen brand integrations - Brief and manage the thumbnail artist and video editor — write clear creative direction documents, track revisions, enforce deadlines, and QA final output before it publishes - Manage brand integration logistics within videos — filming slot coordination, sponsor talking points, asset submission, and partner approval timelines - Track video performance weekly and translate it into concrete decisions about what to make next SHORT FORM CONTENT Short form is a distribution and growth channel across YouTube Shorts, Instagram, and TikTok. You'll own the strategy and planning infrastructure — the founder executes on camera, you've prepared everything they need to do it efficiently. - Study what's performing in our niche across short-form platforms — formats, hooks, visual styles, topics — and build a living reference document the team can pull from - Maintain a rolling short-form content calendar with a clear, research-backed mix of content types and topics - Prepare detailed briefs for each short — concept, hook, key points, suggested format, and any visual references — so the founder can sit down and film a week's worth in a single session - Coordinate with the editing team to ensure short-form clips are cut, formatted, and scheduled across platforms consistently - Track performance by platform and format, and feed those insights back into the planning calendar LINKEDIN — BRAND PRESENCE & DISTRIBUTION LinkedIn is a strategic channel for building the founder's authority in private equity, business acquisitions, and financial independence. You'll build and run the system that makes it consistent. - Study what's performing in the finance and business acquisition space on LinkedIn — post formats, content types, engagement patterns — and build a repeatable content playbook - Develop a weekly posting cadence that balances repurposed video content with original LinkedIn-native posts and carousels - Coordinate with the editing team to produce any visual assets needed for LinkedIn distribution - Track follower growth and post performance and use the data to continuously sharpen the playbook BRAND DEALS & PARTNER COORDINATION - Once brand partnerships are confirmed, own all downstream logistics: filming slot scheduling, integration timelines, talking point briefs, asset delivery, and approval workflows - Keep active deal trackers current and proactively manage deadlines so nothing slips - Serve as the operational point of contact for brand partners once a deal is in motion COMMUNITY & EVENTS - Support the launch and ongoing operations of a paid practitioner community — application management, member onboarding, and regular touchpoints - Coordinate guest speakers end-to-end: scheduling, briefing documents, and day-of logistics - Manage the community inbox and surface anything that requires the founder's direct attention TRAVEL & CALENDAR MANAGEMENT - Own full trip logistics — flights, hotels, ground transport, visa research, and itinerary documents — for a travel-heavy schedule that includes international speaking engagements, investor meetings, and content trips - Manage the founder's calendar with the explicit goal of protecting filming blocks and deep work time - Coordinate logistics for events, meetups, and brand appearances TEAM & VENDOR MANAGEMENT - Run weekly async standups with the production team — editors, thumbnail artists, and active contractors - Assign development projects for editors and thumbnail artists to create new assets, templates, animations, tested concepts once we have capacity, etc. - Source and vet new contractors when needed; manage onboarding, expectations, and accountability - Build and maintain SOPs so every process is documented and repeatable --- WHO YOU ARE - You have direct experience inside a YouTube operation, content brand, or fast-moving media company — you know what a real production pipeline looks like from the inside - You understand what makes YouTube content perform — not just as a viewer, but as someone who has studied the mechanics of growth, format, and audience retention - You write clearly and confidently — briefs, creative direction documents, itineraries, and coordination emails shouldn't need to be rewritten - You are systems-oriented by default — the first time you do something, you're already thinking about how to make it repeatable and scalable - You surface problems before they become fires and arrive with solutions, not just questions - You operate with a high degree of ownership and minimal need for oversight — you close loops, you don't leave them open - You're comfortable managing a small team of contractors and holding people accountable without friction - A background in or genuine interest in finance, business acquisitions, or entrepreneurship content is a meaningful plus --- WHAT THIS IS NOT - This is not a passive coordination role — you will make decisions, build systems, and drive outcomes without being prompted - This is not a video editing role — you direct and manage editors, you don't cut footage yourself - This is not a role for someone who needs their week structured for them — you'll be the one structuring it --- GROWTH PATH The right person will prove themselves quickly and take on more. Full-time conversion is a real and near-term possibility, with performance bonuses tied to content output, brand deal execution, and community growth. This role scales as the operation scales — and the operation is growing fast. --- TO APPLY Send a short note (3–5 sentences) on why this role fits your specific background.
