Content & Organic Growth Strategist for Digital Agency (Paid Pilot to Start)
Worldwide
We're a growing digital agency looking for someone who owns content and organic growth end to end. Not a scheduler. Not a template designer. Someone who thinks, researches, and brings ideas without being told. You'll run the content and distribution system for a founder profile and our agency. The goal: make us consistent, get us seen, and reduce how much the founder touches day to day. What you'll own: - Research our audience, market, and competitors, and spot what's working - Decide content frequency, mix, and platforms based on data, not habit - Write hooks, scripts, and captions that earn attention - Build and run the monthly content calendar on your own - Direct the look of every video. Study what performs in our space, choose the format and visual treatment, then either give the founder a simple shot list to film, or plan the visuals with b-roll or AI that does not look like AI. Brief the editor on exactly what to do. - Plan how one recording becomes several pieces, and brief the editor on each cut - Publish, manage comments, and grow engagement - Push distribution beyond posting: Reddit, Threads, LinkedIn, Facebook groups - Review analytics and improve the plan around reach, engagement, and leads Important: this role does not include filming or editing. We handle those in-house or locally. Your job is to direct the content: choose the format, give the shot list, and brief whoever edits. Must-haves: - Proof you have grown real accounts, with numbers - Strong judgment on what to post, where, and why - Fluent English and a real feel for a North American audience - A self-starter who brings recommendations, not questions Nice to have: B2B or agency experience, and enough video know-how to direct an editor well. How this works: we start with a paid 10 to 14 day pilot. Real work, real pay. It tells us both if this is a fit before anyone commits. Please answer these in your proposal (skip the generic pitch): 1. Share 2 or 3 accounts or brands you have grown, and the actual results. 2. How do you decide content frequency, platforms, and distribution? Walk me through your logic. 3. My videos right now are mostly me talking to camera. Pick one topic in the digital agency space and tell me: (a) the format or hook you would use to make it stronger, (b) whether you would need me to film specific shots (list them) or you would plan the visuals another way and how you would keep any AI from looking cheap, and (c) what you would hand the editor. 4. Your availability and hourly rate. Please do not apply if your main service is Canva templates and scheduled posts.
