Summary We are developing a comprehensive Core Accounting curriculum aligned with foundational accounting principles, managerial decision-making frameworks, and financial performance analysis. The content includes, but is not limited to the following topics: Partnership Accounting, comprising partnership establishment, equity contributions, distribution of profits and losses, partner entry and exit, as well as dissolution and winding-up procedures; Cost and Management Accounting; Cost-Volume-Profit (CVP) Analysis, including contribution margin, break-even analysis, pricing decisions, and business expansion decisions; Budgeting and Planning, including operating budgets, cash budgets, master budgets, and budgeting for manufacturing, service, and not-for-profit organizations; Responsibility Accounting and Performance Evaluation; and Standard Costing and Variance Analysis, including overhead variances, sales variances, profit variances, and cost control techniques. Our goal is to create an engaging, standards-aligned learning experience that promotes conceptual clarity, analytical reasoning, and practical application of accounting principles for undergraduate learners. Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and academically strong Accounting Content Reviewer to evaluate and refine educational materials covering core accounting concepts. The ideal candidate will ensure that content is technically accurate, pedagogically effective, and aligned with curriculum objectives for undergraduate-level learners. Key Responsibilities Review and assess the accuracy, completeness, and quality of educational content across financial, managerial, and cost accounting topics. Ensure content is aligned with established accounting principles, managerial accounting frameworks, and best practices. Provide detailed feedback to improve conceptual clarity, problem-solving approaches, and instructional effectiveness, particularly for quantitative accounting topics. Verify the accuracy of accounting calculations, financial analyses, budgets, cost allocations, and variance analyses. Evaluate whether content effectively develops learners' analytical, decision-making, and financial interpretation skills. Collaborate with curriculum developers to revise and enhance content while maintaining high-quality academic standards. Ensure consistency in accounting terminology, methodology, tone, and instructional style across lessons and modules. Qualifications Master’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Management Accounting, Commerce, or a closely related field (required). At least 3 years of academic, teaching, or professional experience in accounting, finance, auditing, or related disciplines. Strong understanding of financial accounting, managerial accounting, cost accounting, budgeting, and performance evaluation. Excellent attention to detail and strong written communication skills. Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, ACCA, or equivalent are highly desirable. Prior experience reviewing or developing educational content (videos, textbooks, or e-learning materials) is highly preferred.
