Content Reviewer - Nursing

Summary We are developing a comprehensive Core Nursing curriculum aligned with the professional foundations and fundamental skills of nursing. The content includes, but is not limited to, the following topics: Nursing and the health care system, Health-illness continuum, Legal and ethical aspects of nursing, Nursing practice acts, Informed consent and ethical decision-making, ADPIE and clinical decision-making frameworks, Medical records, EHR protocols and hand-off communication, Therapeutic communication techniques and nurse-client relationship phases. Our goal is to create an engaging, standards-aligned learning experience that promotes conceptual clarity, clinical judgment, patient-centered care, and real-world application of Nursing principles for undergraduate learners. Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and clinically knowledgeable Nursing Content Reviewer to evaluate and refine educational materials focused on the professional foundations and fundamental skills of nursing. The successful candidate will review curriculum content to ensure it is accurate, engaging, and aligned with learning objectives for undergraduate nursing students and early-career health professionals. Key Responsibilities Review and assess the accuracy and quality of content for the abovementioned Core Nursing topics. Ensure content is aligned with current nursing principles, professional standards, legal and ethical guidelines, and foundational nursing practice expectations. Provide feedback on curriculum materials to enhance clarity, coherence, instructional value, and real-world clinical application, particularly for ADPIE, clinical decision-making, patient assessment, documentation, and communication practices. Collaborate with curriculum developers to address revisions and maintain high-quality standards across lessons and modules. Verify consistency in nursing terminology, tone, and style across educational materials, including references to nursing practice acts, EHR protocols, hand-off communication, and patient-care procedures. Qualifications Master’s degree or higher in Nursing, Medical Surgical Nursing, Pediatric Nursing or a closely related field (required). Strong familiarity with professional nursing standards, nursing practice acts, legal and ethical nursing principles, clinical documentation, patient assessment, and foundational nursing skills. At least 3 years of academic, teaching, or professional experience in nursing or related health care settings. Excellent attention to detail and written communication skills. Experience reviewing or developing educational content (videos, textbooks, or e-learning materials) for nursing or health care learners is highly preferred.
