Job Title: Content Strategist About the Role We are looking for a creative and strategic Content Strategist to support client content planning, social media direction, and brand aligned content development. This person should understand how to create content that not only looks good, but also drives engagement, builds trust, and supports each client’s business goals. The ideal candidate is able to audit social media accounts, identify what is working, spot content gaps, and help guide the direction of future content. This role requires strong creative thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt ideas across different industries, tones, and brand styles. Key Responsibilities -Review and audit client social media accounts to identify strengths, weaknesses, content gaps, and engagement opportunities. -Develop content ideas that align with each client’s branding, tone, audience, and business goals. -Create content strategies that help improve engagement, reach, brand awareness, and audience connection. -Research trends, competitor content, audience behavior, and industry topics to support stronger content direction. -Build content pillars, post ideas, hooks, captions, and campaign concepts for clients. -Provide creative direction for social media posts, reels, carousels, graphics, and video content. -Work with the design, copywriting, and video teams to make sure content is clear, on brand, and effective. -Help organize content calendars and ensure content ideas are planned with purpose. -Analyze social media performance and recommend improvements based on engagement, reach, saves, shares, comments, and overall audience response. -Maintain each client’s unique voice, messaging, and brand positioning across all content. - Must be available to work during US business hours Requirements -Experience in content strategy, social media marketing, brand strategy, or digital marketing. -Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and short form video content. -Ability to audit social media accounts and turn insights into clear content recommendations. -Strong creative writing skills, especially for hooks, captions, post concepts, and campaign ideas. -Ability to understand different brand tones and create content ideas that feel aligned with each client. -Strong research skills and ability to identify relevant trends without copying generic content. -Organized, detail oriented, and able to manage multiple client accounts or projects. -Comfortable giving creative direction to designers, editors, and content creators. -Ability to think strategically about what will drive engagement, not just what looks good. Nice to Have -Experience working with agencies or multiple clients. -Experience creating content calendars. -Knowledge of Canva, Meta Business Suite, TikTok, LinkedIn, Google Drive, Asana, or similar tools. -Experience with analytics reporting and content performance reviews. -Understanding of paid social media and how organic content can support ad campaigns. Who This Role Is Best For This role is best for someone who understands both creativity and strategy. The right person can look at a client’s social media page and quickly understand what needs to improve, what type of content should be created, and how to make the brand more engaging online.
