Summary

1. The role in one line Take raw footage and turn it into finished, on brand long form videos and shorts for Inside Fortaleza Visas, ready to post across YouTube, Instagram and TikTok, on a predictable monthly schedule. This is an ongoing freelance arrangement, not a one off project. The channel posts on a fixed weekly cadence and keeps going month to month, so the work is steady and repeating. 2. About the channel This role is for Inside Fortaleza Visas, a separate and newer page. It is not the main account. Inside Fortaleza is the established main account that we run ourselves. Inside Fortaleza Visas is a different, newer channel, and it is the current growth focus, which is where all of this work lives. Inside Fortaleza Visas helps foreigners understand and move to Brazil. It is built on trust, not hype. We are the on camera guide, and a partner lawyer handles the legal side. The content educates honestly and points viewers toward consultations rather than chasing viral views. Every cut has to feel clear and credible, and never clickbait. 3. What you will be editing Two formats. Editing and graphic design both sit inside this role. Long form YouTube videos. Talking head plus B roll, typically 6 to 10 minutes. Educational explainers on visas, cost of living, the CPF, Fortaleza neighbourhoods and common mistakes. Each one needs on brand graphics built into the edit, a YouTube thumbnail, and chapter timestamps. Shorts. Vertical videos around 30 to 60 seconds, cut to one master for YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels and TikTok, each with its own grid cover frame. Many are pulled from the same week's long form footage, so the source material is already in hand. 4. Monthly output and cadence The channel runs a fixed rhythm every month, so the workload is predictable and continuing. A typical month looks like this. Output & Volume per month Long form YouTube 8 Shorts (YouTube, Reels, TikTok) 16 Filming is batched and footage is provided in advance with the direction for each video. Content always needs to be at least two weeks ahead, so finished videos are ready and approved well before their posting day, never cut at the last minute. 5. The brand look you will work to This is the most important section. The grid has to look like one consistent series, not a set of one off edits. Brand colours: blue 262485 green 008A35 yellow FECE00 Headline font: Anton or Bebas Neue (both free) Graphics and thumbnails Graphics are part of the role, not just cutting footage. When a video covers numbers, you build the visual in the brand colours and fonts. For example, in the cost of living video you would create a clean chart showing rent, food, transport and the monthly total, in the brand blue, yellow and green, that appears on screen as we talk through it. It should look like it belongs to the channel, not a stock template dropped in. If you can do motion graphics, even better. Animated text, animated charts that build as the number is spoken, and smooth transitions are a strong plus. You also design the thumbnails. YouTube thumbnails should follow what works on YouTube today, the current high click through styles, not a dated look. You will get guidance and references for these. The shorts grid covers follow the cover frame layout above. Everything uses the brand colours and headline font so the channel stays consistent. Pacing Tight and clear, holding attention without feeling rushed. 6. Deliverables and file specs Format Aspect Resolution Also delivered Long form 16:9 4K minimum (3840 x 2160) Thumbnail at 1280x720, any on brand graphics, and chapter timestamps Short 9:16 4K minimum (2160 x 3840) One vertical master, plus the Instagram and TikTok cover frame image On screen text is burned in. Provide a clean caption free export if requested. Deliver finished files to a shared drive, in a clearly named folder for each video. 7. Workflow We provide all original footage and B roll through a shared drive, with the brief for each video attached: the title, the thumbnail direction, and the look for the month. Turnaround: keep every video finished and approved at least two weeks before it posts. Staying ahead of the schedule is part of the job. A short weekly check in keeps the schedule ahead, never behind. 8. Tools Editing: [Premiere Pro / DaVinci Resolve / CapCut], your choice as long as the output meets the spec above. Storage and review: [Google Drive / Frame.io / Dropbox]. A brand kit is provided: logo, colour codes, the cover frame template, and the headline fonts, so the look stays consistent from day one. 9. What we are looking for in you Strong English. You will work with English scripts, captions and on screen text every day, so reading and understanding English well is essential. This one matters a lot. Strong short form instincts: hooks that hold, clean pacing, legible captions. Design skills as well as editing: you can build clean on brand graphics, data visuals and thumbnails, not only cut footage. Motion graphics are a bonus. Consistency. The same look every week matters more than flashy one offs. Reliability against deadlines and the two week buffer. A reel or examples, ideally talking head plus B roll, vertical shorts, and any graphics work. 10. Compensation This is a monthly retainer, rolling month to month, for the full output: 8 long form, 16 shorts, plus their cover frames, thumbnails and graphics. State your monthly price in your application.
