Summary

Finance Content Writer (YMYL / MSME Lending) — Build Topical Authority & E-E-A-T for a Credit Advisory Brand Per-deliverable or monthly retainer · starts with a paid trial piece · ongoing Overview We are an MSME / business-loan credit advisory firm in Pune, India, with a WordPress site. Our content is our weakest area — an internal audit scored Content Depth & E-E-A-T at 3.5/10, the lowest of eight dimensions. We want a writer who can take it to 7.5/10 or higher and, in doing so, lift our keyword reach and AI-search visibility. This is a pure writing + editorial role. Technical SEO, schema, and site speed are handled separately — see Out of Scope. We need someone who understands MSME finance and writes like a credit professional, not a content mill. What you’ll write A topic-cluster content engine, built one cluster at a time. Each cluster = one authoritative pillar page plus supporting articles. Likely clusters: CGTMSE / collateral-free lending MSME & business loans Working capital, CC / OD facilities Project finance & term loans Loan against property / LRD CMA, DPR, and credit appraisal (what they are, why they matter) Structured & syndicated funding Choosing and dealing with lenders as a business owner Priority order is Pune-local intent first, then Maharashtra, then national. You’ll work to an agreed topic-cluster plan (shared with our technical SEO so the two stay aligned), but weexpect you to do your own search-intent and keyword research to brief each piece. E-E-A-T — this is the actual job The score is low because the content reads generic and unauthored. We need: Accuracy, non-negotiable. This is regulated-finance (YMYL). Example: the CGTMSE cover ceiling is currently ₹10 crore — writers who repeat outdated figures will not be retained. You verify before you publish. Real expertise on the page. Author bylines with genuine credentials, an about/credentials presence, depth a business owner can’t get from a generic blog. Trust signals. Cited sources (RBI, SIDBI, scheme guidelines), accurate scheme details, honest framing — no hype, no false promises. Experience shown, not claimed — concrete examples, real numbers, redacted/compliant case framing. Structure for search + AI Write so the content wins featured snippets and gets cited by AI Overviews, ChatGPT, and Perplexity: clear answerable Q&A blocks, tight definitions, scannable structure, and citable data points. Our AI crawlers are already allowed at the technical level — your job is to give them content worth quoting. House style — read this carefully We reject generic AI-sounding copy. Hold to this: Ban these words: leverage, robust, comprehensive, seamless, underscore, pivotal, holistic. No “not just X, it’s Y” constructions. Em-dashes: two per page, maximum. Break the rule-of-three — not every list needs exactly three items. No bold lead-ins on bullets. Don’t close a section by restating it. One clear claim per point. Don’t hedge twice. Vary how paragraphs open; vary section lengths. Make it read like a person wrote it.Tone: direct, analytical, banker-grade. We position ourselves as the seat between the CA and the bank’s credit manager — plain, precise, no fluff. Match that. Compliance (non-negotiable) Public content must not name any specific banks or financial institutions. Use generic category language only — “nationalized banks,” “leading private / MNC lenders,” “our lender panel.” A writer who names institutions in copy will not be retained. Out of scope You are not doing technical SEO, schema/JSON-LD, site speed, plugin work, or WordPress configuration — a separate specialist owns that. You may publish into WordPress using the block editor if comfortable, or hand over clean formatted drafts. State your preference. Deliverables A briefing doc per piece (target query, intent, outline, internal links) before writing. Finished, fact-checked, on-brand articles — pillar pieces and supporting articles per the cluster plan. Suggested meta title + description and FAQ Q&A for each piece. A simple content calendar showing cluster sequence and cadence. How we’ll work 1. Paid trial piece — one ~800-word article on a topic we assign, to this brief and house style. Low-risk for both sides. 2. If it lands, we move to a per-deliverable or monthly retainer (state your preferred model and cadence — e.g. 4–8 pieces/month). Milestones release on published-andapproved pieces. Required experience Proven YMYL writing — finance, banking, lending, fintech, or legal. Show ranked or cited work. Genuine grasp of MSME credit, business loans, and Indian lending — not surface-level. Strong, human editorial voice; demonstrable ability to avoid AI-slop patterns.Search-intent and on-page content literacy (snippet/AI-citation structuring). Indian MSME / banking context strongly preferred. To be considered, your proposal must answer 1. Share one finance/YMYL piece you wrote that ranks or gets cited — what made it authoritative? 2. In 2–3 sentences, as you’d write it for a business owner: what is working capital finance and why does an MSME need it? (We’re reading for clarity and accuracy, not length.) 3. How do you make sure finance content is factually correct on regulated topics? 4. How do you keep content from sounding AI-generated? 5. How do you structure an article to win a featured snippet or get cited by AI search? Generic copy-paste proposals will be ignored. Reference the house style above. Topic-cluster plan and site access shared with shortlisted candidates.
