Contract Patent Work

We are a busy boutique intellectual property law firm looking for an experienced patent attorney or patent agent to assist with overflow drafting of provisional patent applications. This is a contract-based opportunity. Each project will have a fixed budget, an estimated number of hours expected to complete the work, and a deadline. The ideal candidate can quickly understand complex technical disclosures, prepare clear and strategically drafted provisional patent applications, and consistently produce high-quality work with minimal supervision. All contracted agents and attorneys are required to sign the firm's Independent Contractor Agreement, Confidentiality Agreement and work through the firm's virtual desktop environment. For the right agent or attorney, this may lead to ongoing project work. If there is a strong mutual fit and the attorney resides in one of our preferred hiring states, a full-time position may also be considered in the future.
