Conversion-Focused Front-End Developer — Rapid Audit + Execution (Custom Site on Netlify)

Overview: We run a premium editorial platform for women 40+, custom-coded and hosted on Netlify. We’re looking for one senior developer to audit our site for conversion and technical issues, then execute the high-value fixes directly. This is a fast, execution-first engagement — we want shipped improvements within days, not a strategy deck. You will own the full loop: identify issues, write the fixes, and deploy them yourself via our Git/Netlify workflow. You’ll have repository and deploy access from day one. Scope (fixed-price, first engagement): 1. A prioritized list of conversion and technical issues, ranked by impact vs. effort. 2. Implementation and deployment of the top quick wins. 3. A short note on any larger items that need their own project. Known focus areas: • Primary conversion goal is email signup on the homepage • Mobile is our dominant traffic — mobile-first is essential • Navigation is currently hamburger-only on mobile, burying key content • A discrepancy between GA4 data and actual email subscribers needs diagnosing • We want the homepage-to-signup funnel tightened Requirements: • Senior front-end skills; comfortable in custom HTML/CSS/JS (no CMS) • Demonstrable CRO experience with before/after examples • Comfortable taking Netlify + Git access and deploying your own changes • Fast turnaround and clear written communication To apply: Share two or three examples of conversion work you executed (not just advised on), confirm you can deploy to Netlify yourself, and give your availability this week.
