Convert Figma Design into a Custom WordPress Block Theme

Summary

I have a complete Figma design that needs to be turned into a fast, clean WordPress site. I'm looking for a WordPress developer to build a custom block theme (native Gutenberg / Full Site Editing - no Elementor, Divi, or other page builders) and set up 6-7 key pages using the content already in the Figma file. Scope of work: Build a custom block theme from my Figma design, with theme.json for colors, typography, and spacing tokens pulled from the design. Create reusable block patterns for repeating sections such as heroes, feature grids, CTAs, and testimonials, plus custom header and footer templates. The site must be fully responsive on desktop, tablet, and mobile, and faithful to the design. Build 6-7 key pages (e.g. Home, About, Services, Contact, plus 2-3 others - final list shared with the Figma file). All text and images are in the Figma; you'll transfer them into the pages. Easy management is a priority. I should be able to edit any page text or image myself in the block editor without touching code. No hardcoded content in templates - use patterns and editable blocks. Basics done right: clean, lightweight code with minimal plugins, good performance (target 90+ mobile Lighthouse), basic on-page SEO structure (proper headings, meta-ready), a contact form using a lightweight plugin, and cross-browser testing. What I'll provide: Full Figma file with all pages, content, and assets. WordPress hosting/staging access (or build on your staging and migrate). Quick answers - I'm responsive and can review daily. Deliverables: Installed, working theme with all pages live on my WordPress install. Theme source files. A short Loom video or doc showing me how to edit pages and reuse the block patterns. Requirements: Strong portfolio of Figma-to-WordPress builds - please link 2-3 examples. Experience with block themes, theme.json, and FSE specifically (not just page-builder work). Pixel-conscious attention to detail. Good written English and reliable communication. To apply: Start your proposal with the word "BLOCKS" so I know you read this. Include: 2-3 relevant Figma-to-WordPress examples (block themes preferred), your fixed-price quote and estimated timeline, and a brief note on how you'd structure the theme so I can edit everything myself. I'll share the Figma link with shortlisted candidates.
