Convert 3D Renderings & Architectural Plans into 3D-Printable Files (STL/OBJ)

We are looking for an experienced 3D CAD designer to take existing 3D renderings, project designs, and architectural/technical plans and convert them into fully functional, print-ready 3D models. The end goal is to hand these files off to a technician or service provider who will produce physical models using a 3D printer. Responsibilities: Review provided 3D renderings, 2D plans, and project specifications. Model or adapt the project into a high-quality 3D CAD format (e.g., STL, OBJ, STEP). Ensure the model is optimized for 3D printing (watertight mesh, correct wall thickness, appropriate scaling, and minimal need for excessive supports). Split large models into logical, assemblable parts if required by build volume constraints. Requirements: Strong proficiency in CAD and 3D modeling software (Fusion 360, Blender, SolidWorks, Rhino, etc.). Proven experience preparing complex models specifically for FDM or SLA 3D printing. Clear communication skills and attention to structural/architectural detail.
