Cooling System Design

We are looking for an HVAC engineer to design a cooling-only system for a 1500 sqm office building in Kenya. The project requires the integration of high-wall split units with an already approved interior design. We need a technical professional who prioritizes aesthetics and can seamlessly coordinate the placement of indoor units with our interior layout. Scope of Work: - Cooling Load Calculations: Precise analysis to determine the required capacity for each zone. - Coordinated Split System Layout: Placement of split indoor units in alignment with the approved interior design scheme (e.g., concealing piping, avoiding visual clutter, maintaining symmetry). - Technical Integration: Ensure the AC layout respects interior ceiling details, lighting, and wall features. - Installation & Drainage Drawings: Detailed CAD drawings showing unit locations, refrigerant piping routing, and condensate drainage paths, fully coordinated with the interior plans. - Professional Coordination: Liaising with our design team to ensure every unit placement is aesthetically acceptable without compromising performance. Requirements: - Proven experience in HVAC design for commercial projects. - Strong eye for design: Ability to reconcile technical requirements with strict interior design aesthetics. - Expert proficiency in drawing software (must be able to overlay/reference our interior CAD files). Ability to handle the constraints of split system installations (piping runs, wall penetrations, drainage). Deliverables: - Cooling load calculations - Indoor unit layout (coordinated with interior design) - Installation drawings (AC piping & equipment locations) - Condensate drainage design (including routing & slope calculations) Please include in your proposal: - Portfolio examples of commercial office projects where you successfully integrated split systems with interior design. - Your process for coordinating technical layouts with architectural/interior plans.
