Copywriter (Defense Technology)

We're looking for a freelance Technical Copywriter to support our marketing team. Our engagement model is simple: Up to 1 hour/week paid retainer for planning and content discussions Approved deliverables are paid separately on a fixed-price basis You'll create clear, engaging content for a fast-growing defense technology company. Projects include LinkedIn posts, website copy, product pages, blogs, case studies, email campaigns, press releases, sales collateral, and other marketing materials. We're looking for someone who can understand complex technical concepts and turn them into compelling content for commercial, enterprise, and government audiences while maintaining a consistent brand voice. Requirements: Exceptional English writing and editing skills Experience writing for technology companies Ability to simplify technical concepts without sacrificing accuracy Experience using AI writing tools to improve productivity Strong research skills and attention to detail Ability to work quickly and incorporate feedback Experience writing about defense, aerospace, cybersecurity, AI, robotics, or enterprise software is a strong plus. Please include 3–5 writing samples, relevant client work, the AI tools you use, and a brief overview of your writing process.
