Corporate & Commercial Legal Professional

We are a growing technology company working with clients across multiple countries and are looking for an experienced Corporate & Commercial Legal Professional (India law) to support us with contract drafting, cross-border agreement structuring, and compliance-aligned documentation as we scale. This role is best suited for a lawyer who understands how startups operate, is comfortable supporting international service relationships, and can help us build strong legal foundations while keeping documentation practical, clear, and business-focused. As part of this role, we are looking for ongoing support with drafting and reviewing key commercial agreements such as service agreements, NDAs, vendor and supply contracts, licensing and distribution arrangements, and partnership documentation aligned with our day-to-day business operations across India and internationally. Since we work with clients and collaborators in multiple jurisdictions, we also need support adapting global contract templates for India-law enforceability, structuring jurisdiction and dispute-resolution clauses appropriately, and identifying commercial or legal risks before agreements are finalized. In addition, support will be required with founder and shareholder documentation, early-stage investment readiness documentation, and governance-aligned internal policies as the company continues to grow. We also expect guidance on website and platform-facing legal documentation, including privacy policies and terms of service, along with broader compliance-aligned documentation for our digital operations. A key expectation from this role is proactive contract risk mitigation support, including arbitration-ready clause structuring, vendor exposure management, and strengthening our documentation framework so commercial relationships remain secure, scalable, and dispute-resilient as we expand internationally.
