Cosmetic Chemist/Chemical Engineer for Men's Agave Hair Gel Line

Project Overview Seeking an expert Cosmetic Chemist / Chemical Engineer to formulate two commercial-ready men's hair styling gels using an Agave extract base. Formulas must be in standard weight percentages (wt%) and optimized for industrial scale-up in Mexico. Product Profiles Needed: High-Shine / Strong-Hold Gel: High-gloss wet finish; strong hold; water-soluble with zero flaking. Note: Crystal-clear transparency is not required; a slight natural tint (resembling the color of agave) is preferred and welcome. Matte Volumizing Gel: Completely matte finish; flexible medium hold; infused with a Vitamin Complex (Panthenol/B5, Vitamin E) and matting agents. Technical & Packaging Specs: Scent-Flexible Base: Core formula must allow future scent profile changes without requiring a full re-formulation. Fragrance Load: Must comfortably accommodate a 0.50% to 0.75% high-end parfum load without breaking the gel structure. Packaging: Formulated for stability in dark amber PET containers. Deliverables: Phase 1: Theoretical formula spreadsheets (wt%) with INCI nomenclature. Phase 2: Physical bench samples shipped for testing. Documentation: Provided in Spanish for Mexican regulatory/manufacturing compliance. IP Ownership: 100% intellectual property ownership transfers to the client upon completion.
