Cosmetic Formulation Chemist for Premium Men’s Curl Cream

We are building a premium men’s haircare brand with the ambition and infrastructure to scale into a major business. The brand concept, positioning, marketing strategy, industry contacts and custom packaging are already in place. The final and most important missing piece is an exceptional product formulation. We are looking for an experienced cosmetic formulation chemist or cosmetic scientist with a strong background in haircare and styling products. The goal is to develop a high-performance men’s curl cream with a specific texture, level of hold, finish, spreadability and hair feel. We already have several reference products and a clear vision of which characteristics we want to combine and improve. We need someone who can evaluate these references, translate our feedback into a technical formulation brief, develop laboratory prototypes and refine the formula through multiple testing rounds. The final formula should be distinctive, stable, scalable for commercial manufacturing and suitable for an EU-compliant cosmetic product. Relevant experience with curl creams, styling creams, leave-in products, emulsions, styling polymers, preservatives and haircare formulation is essential.
