Create Two Cinematic Video Montages (Stock Footage + AI Footage)

Summary

Overview I'm looking for a talented visual storyteller to create two short cinematic montages using premium stock footage, AI-generated footage, or a combination of both. These montages will rely entirely on visuals to tell an emotional story. I'm looking for someone with exceptional instincts for emotion, pacing, and authentic human moments. Think: Netflix documentary Apple commercial Nike storytelling ESPN E60 Not: Sports highlight reels Corporate stock videos Fast-paced YouTube editing Social media hype videos The goal is for viewers to feel something within the first few seconds. Montage 1 — Recognition Length: 10–12 seconds Emotional Goal The audience should immediately think: "I've felt exactly like that." This montage should capture women who want to be included but feel one step behind. Possible moments include: A woman clapping a second after everyone else at a football game. A woman watching everyone else's reactions instead of watching the game. Coworkers discussing yesterday's football game while one woman politely smiles but doesn't join the conversation. A mom sitting in the stands trying to understand what's happening on the field. A woman quietly looking around after a big play to see whether everyone is celebrating or disappointed. The feeling should be: Curious Interested Relatable Avoid making anyone look embarrassed or incompetent. The emotion is quiet recognition—not shame. Music Direction Please include a temporary royalty-free music track. The mood should feel: Soft piano Reflective Warm Thoughtful Hopeful The music should support the emotion without becoming sad or dramatic. Montage 2 — Transformation Length: 15–20 seconds Emotional Goal This montage represents what becomes possible. Not perfection. Not expertise. Belonging. Connection. Confidence. Possible moments include: Family gathered together watching football. A woman confidently watching and enjoying the game. A mom talking with her child after a football game. A woman participating in a football conversation at work. A couple enjoying a football game together. Friends watching football together. Friday night high school football under the lights. The overall feeling should be: Warm Connected Authentic Hopeful Comfortable Music Direction Please include a temporary royalty-free music track. The mood should gently build while remaining understated. Think: Warm piano Gentle cinematic build Quiet optimism Avoid overly dramatic or "epic" inspirational music. The feeling should be: "This feels possible." Creative Freedom The scenes above are examples of the emotions I'm trying to communicate. You do not need to recreate these exact moments. If you have a stronger visual idea that communicates the same emotional journey, I'd love to see your creative interpretation. Storytelling is more important than following the shot list exactly. Editing Style Please keep the editing clean and cinematic. Natural pacing Soft transitions Minimal effects Warm color grading Authentic documentary feel Avoid flashy edits, excessive slow motion, or trendy social media effects. The footage should feel like real life—not staged scenes. Diversity Please include women of different: Ages Ethnicities Backgrounds Family situations The visuals should feel inclusive and relatable. Deliverables Please provide: Montage 1 (10–12 seconds) Montage 2 (15–20 seconds) Final exported MP4 files Editable project file (Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut, or equivalent) A list of stock footage and AI assets used (or links, if licensing prevents sharing) 4K preferred whenever possible. To Apply Please include: Two or three examples of your most cinematic storytelling work. Tell me whether you would primarily use: Stock footage AI-generated footage Or a combination of both. List the AI tools you use (Runway, Veo, Kling, Pika, etc.). Start your proposal with the words: "Stories create connection." This lets me know you've read the full project description. Creative Challenge (Optional, but Strongly Encouraged) If you'd like to stand out, create a rough 10–15 second sample that captures the feeling of someone who wants to be part of something but feels one step behind. Use stock footage, AI footage, or a combination of both. It does not need to be polished. I'm not evaluating technical perfection. I'm evaluating your ability to tell a story through visuals. The strongest storyteller—not necessarily the strongest editor—will get the project.
