I'm looking for an experienced wildlife illustrator to create the flagship artwork for the launch of ECHO HERD, a new wildlife conservation brand. This isn't simply a t-shirt design project—it's an opportunity to create artwork that invites people to pause, look closer, and discover a meaningful conservation story. The selected illustrator will create the signature artwork for Vanishing Herd, the launch collection for ECHO HERD—a design that tells the story of the gradual disappearance of wild Asian elephants. I'm looking for an illustrator who enjoys creating original wildlife artwork that is both visually compelling and emotionally meaningful. The Ideal Illustrator You: Create original wildlife illustrations—not stock artwork, AI-generated artwork, or clip art. Have a strong understanding of animal anatomy and natural movement. Pay close attention to detail. Enjoy creating artwork that tells a story. Communicate professionally and meet agreed project deadlines. About the Project The illustration follows a herd of Asian elephants on a journey together. The artwork should tell a story. At first glance, the viewer should simply see a beautiful herd of elephants. As they spend more time with the artwork, they should gradually discover that the herd is quietly disappearing. That moment of discovery is at the heart of this collection. A detailed creative brief, concept sketches, and photographic reference materials will be provided to the selected illustrator. Project Requirements Original artwork only. Wildlife illustration experience required. Final artwork must accurately portray Asian elephants. Production-ready artwork with editable source files. Suitable for premium Direct-to-Garment (DTG) apparel printing. Deliverables Original back illustration for the Vanishing Herd collection. Placement of the existing ECHO HERD logo on the left chest. Reserved space beneath the illustration for the collection identification text. Final production-ready artwork and editable source files.
