Creative Content & Community Assistant (Part-Time, Remote)

About the Project I'm a first-principles thinker and polymath building a framework of bounded equations across math, science, economics, ethics, and nutrition. My mission is to use these ideas to solve big problems and build community. I need one versatile assistant to turn recorded conversations into a week's worth of content and help coordinate a small circle of volunteers. This is not a corporate role. This is a partnership with someone who values deep ideas and wants to help share them with the world. Key Responsibilities Content Repurposing: Take a 2-hour recorded conversation each Friday and edit it into short clips for TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Threads. Social Media Posting: Use scheduling tools to auto-post content across platforms. Volunteer Coordination: Help match skilled volunteers (designers, writers, videographers) to tasks that support the project. Engagement: Ideally, you listen deeply and ask questions or offer thoughtful pushback during recordings. Your genuine reactions make the content better. Desired Traits A curious learner who enjoys diving into multiple domains. Reliable, organized, and comfortable working independently. Basic comfort with video editing and social media platforms. Strong listening skills and the ability to ask clarifying questions. Comfortable coordinating with multiple people and keeping projects on track. Hours & Compensation Approximately 2-4 hours per week. 10.00 − 10.00−20.00 per hour. Remote with preference for U.S., Oregon, or Washington-based candidates. In-person availability in the Portland area is a plus but not required. Contract-to-hire opportunity for the right person.
