About the Opportunity We are seeking a highly creative and experienced Creative Director to help define, design, and bring to life the future vision of a growing consumer-facing product brand. We are not looking for a traditional marketing consultant, SEO specialist, social media manager, or advertising agency. We already understand our products, markets, customers, and distribution channels. What we need is a creative leader who can help us define how our company and products should be presented to consumers and then visually demonstrate that vision through design, imagery, messaging, and customer experience concepts. This role combines brand strategy, creative direction, graphic design, website design, product presentation, and storytelling. Project Overview Our initial objective is to develop the creative vision for a new direct-to-consumer website and supporting marketing materials. We are looking for someone who can answer questions such as: What should our brand look and feel like? How should our products be presented online? What visual style should be used across our website, advertising, packaging, and sales materials? How do we create a premium, professional, and consistent customer experience? How do we make technical products easy to understand and compelling to purchase? Most importantly, we are looking for someone who can create and visually demonstrate the answers to these questions—not simply provide recommendations. Responsibilities The selected candidate will work directly with company leadership to: Develop the overall brand vision and creative direction Create visual concepts that define the look and feel of the company Design website concepts and page mockups Develop brand messaging and copy direction Establish graphic design standards Define photography and imagery styles Create product presentation concepts Develop advertising and promotional concepts Create brand storytelling themes Build a cohesive visual identity across all customer touchpoints Establish guidelines for future marketing and product launches Deliverables The initial engagement may include: Brand vision presentation Creative direction guide Website homepage and key page concepts Product category presentation concepts Visual identity recommendations Typography and color palette recommendations Photography and imagery direction Messaging and voice framework Sample advertising concepts Brand standards guide Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is a combination of: Creative Director Brand Designer Graphic Designer Copywriter Storyteller You should have experience creating compelling brands, websites, and customer experiences for product-based companies. Experience with technical, industrial, electronic, automotive, RV, marine, smart-device, IoT, or engineered products is highly preferred. Qualifications Strong portfolio demonstrating brand creation and visual design Experience designing consumer-facing websites and eCommerce experiences Ability to create both strategy and design concepts Strong graphic design and visual communication skills Experience developing messaging and brand voice Ability to translate technical products into compelling customer experiences Experience collaborating directly with company founders, executives, and product teams What We Are Not Looking For This is not an SEO project. This is not a social media management project. This is not a digital advertising project. This is not a market research project. This is not a consulting engagement focused on reports and recommendations. We are looking for a creative partner who can help define and visually create the future identity of our brand.
