Creative Director / Visual Storytelling for a specialty coffee brand Tower 15 Coffee is looking for a modern Creative Director / Visual Storytelling Partner to help shape the next phase of our brand. This is not a generic graphic design role. We are not looking for cold corporate design, trend-chasing aesthetics, loud eCommerce visuals, or template-driven branding. We are building a specialty coffee brand centered around a philosophy we call “Handcrafted Living” - intentional living, emotional presence, craftsmanship, sensory experience, family connection, meaningful travel, Pacific coastal atmosphere, mountain culture, timeless Americana, artistic appreciation, and thoughtful daily rituals. The role requires someone with strong visual instincts, emotional intelligence, artistic restraint, and the ability to translate atmosphere into cohesive brand storytelling. You should understand how to create a visual world that feels: • cinematic • warm • tactile • emotionally resonant • editorial • timeless • sophisticated without arrogance • human rather than corporate This role may influence: • website visual direction • conceptual artwork • campaign aesthetics • typography direction • email creative direction • social visual identity • packaging refinement • photography selection and atmosphere • storytelling systems • visual consistency across all touchpoints We are NOT looking for: • generic coffee branding • sterile minimalism • over-polished luxury aesthetics • aggressive DTC sales visuals • stock-photo-heavy creative • template-driven eCommerce design Ideal background: • premium DTC brands • specialty coffee • fashion/editorial aesthetics • boutique hospitality • fragrance/skincare/lifestyle brands • cinematic storytelling • modern Shopify brands • emotionally driven visual systems Please send: • portfolio • brands you admire • examples of work with strong atmosphere and emotional identity • a few words about your creative philosophy • examples of conceptual or editorial visual storytelling if available Most important: We are not looking for someone to simply “make designs.” We are looking for someone who can emotionally understand a brand world and help visually translate it with taste, warmth, and originality.
