Creative Strategist - Paid Media
Worldwide
About Us We're a performance marketing agency that runs and scales paid ad programs across Google, Reddit, and newer platforms like ChatGPT Ads. We don't just manage media spend we build the offers, funnels, and creative that make campaigns convert. Our client roster spans DTC e-commerce, DTC services, and B2B SaaS. The Role We're looking for the creative horsepower behind our paid campaigns. Strategy and ad-platform execution are already handled internally — what's missing is someone who can turn a strategic direction into finished creative: offers, landing pages, funnel builds, copy, design, and video direction. You'll partner closely with the Account Manager (client strategy owner) and Campaign Manager (ad account operator). They'll hand you the direction; your job is bringing it to life. Designers, editors, and UGC creators will join to support you as we grow, but for now you need to be able to produce strong creative independently. There's a growth track built in. The person who excels here moves into Performance Account Manager, owning client strategy and running the creative team for their book of business. What You'll Own - Turning strategy into creative - Translate client strategy into offer structure, landing page concepts, and funnel flow - Match creative to funnel stage (cold/warm/retargeting) across platforms - Write briefs clear enough for designers, editors, and developers to execute without hand-holding Cross-platform ad creative - Write platform-native copy: Google Search (RSA), Google Display, YouTube, Reddit native, Meta, ChatGPT Ads Design static creative using Canva, Figma, or AI image tools - Write short-form video scripts with strong hooks and platform-appropriate pacing - Direct video production — brief editors, review cuts, sign off on final deliverables Landing pages & funnels - Build fast-turnaround landing pages in Unbounce, GoHighLevel, Perspective, or similar - Write clear briefs for custom builds handled by design/dev - Design quiz funnels, lead capture flows, and conversion-optimized page structures Ongoing process - Keep a running swipe file and creative library - Track what competitors and category leaders are doing each week - Work with the Campaign Manager to iterate based on live performance data Must-Haves - Paid media experience — 2+ years hands-on running Google - Ads and/or Meta Ads campaigns (not just assisting) - Copywriting chops — a real portfolio of hooks, body copy, and CTAs across platforms - Scriptwriting — short-form video scripts built around hook, payoff, and platform fit - Design skills — static/banner ad design in Canva, Figma, or AI tools - Creative direction for video — able to brief, storyboard, and manage editors even without editing yourself - Landing page tools — Unbounce, GoHighLevel, Webflow, or Framer - Fluent English — native or near-native, with a feel for North American voice and trends - Time zone overlap — ET ± 3 hours, minimum half-day overlap Nice-to-Haves - Reddit Ads experience (subreddit research, native creative) UGC management — briefing, hiring, scripting, creator relationships - Long-form writing (blog, email, newsletter) - Video editing (CapCut, Premiere, DaVinci) - Comfort with AI creative tools — ArcAds, Claude, GPT, Gemini, Midjourney, Runway The (Paid) Skill Test We're not looking for a polished AI-generated submission — we want to see how you think. Candidates who clear the initial screen get a real brand brief and record a Loom walking through their approach. Loom length: 5 minutes max Time needed: 30–60 minutes (brief sent after you pass the initial screen) Cover in your video: - Your strategic take on the brand and the offer angle you'd test - A landing page outline (wireframe, sketch, or written structure — any format) - 3 ad creative concepts (copy + visual direction) spanning at least 2 platforms - The reasoning behind your choices — we care more about your thinking than the polish How to Apply Send: - A quick note on which paid platforms you've spent the most time in, plus your favorite ad you've personally made - Your portfolio or swipe file — anything you've written, designed, or directed - Bonus: a short Loom video (2–3 minutes) introducing yourself, this isn't required, but it moves you to the top of the pile If you're a fit, we'll send the Loom skill test. Strong submissions move to a 20-minute screen with the Account Manager, then a 45-minute working session with the team. Have questions? Include them with your application — thoughtful questions are something we notice.
