AI Creative Video Editor — Hyper-Realistic UGC & VSL Ads (DTC Supplement Brand)
Worldwide
Read this part first, because it's the whole job: We don't need a button-pusher. AI tools are easy now — anyone can generate a clip. What's rare, and what we're actually paying for, is someone who can think. Someone who looks at a blank brief and knows what will stop a thumb on Meta. Someone who can put themselves in the shoes of a 55-year-old woman scrolling Facebook at 9pm and build the exact 3 seconds that makes her stop. The AI is your paintbrush. We're hiring the painter. What you'll actually do: Generate hyper-realistic UGC and VSL ads, fully with AI — talking-head avatars, B-roll, product shots, demos — at a quality where viewers can't tell it's synthetic. Conceive the hook, not just execute it. You decide what the first 3 seconds look and sound like, and why it'll work. Build the full ad: hook → problem → agitate → reveal → CTA, with native captions, comparison demos, and overlays that hold retention. Think like the viewer. Every creative decision answers: "Would this make our customer stop, feel something, and keep watching?" Iterate fast off performance data — we test, kill losers, scale winners. You're who we're looking for if: You have a genuine eye for detail — you notice the uncanny-valley tells in AI footage and fix them so the ad feels real. You can build a scroll-stopping hook from scratch, not just copy a template. You think about the viewer — their fears, their objections, their scroll behavior — not just the visuals. You're smart and self-directed. You take a one-line brief and run, instead of asking how. You already make AI content at a level where people double-take and ask "wait, is that real?" You're not a fit if: You can generate clean clips but can't explain why a hook works. You wait for detailed instructions instead of bringing ideas. Your AI footage looks AI — glitchy hands, dead eyes, plastic skin, robotic VO. You think "make it look professional" is the goal. (Native and real beats polished.) Tools you should be fluent in: AI video — Kling 3.0, Higgsfield, Veo, Runway, HeyGen (or whatever gets you photoreal results). Editing — Premiere / CapCut / DaVinci, After Effects for motion/captions. Workflow — Figma, Frame.io, Google Drive. The setup: Start freelance with a path to in-house. Competitive base + performance bonus tied to winning ads. Remote. Fast-moving creative team. Reports to Creative Strategist / Creative Director. To apply — show, don't tell: Your single best AI ad where the realism makes someone double-take. (Link.) One paragraph breaking down a hook you built — what the viewer was thinking, and why your first 3 seconds stopped them. (This is the most important part of your application. It's how we see if you can think.) Your honest take: what makes most AI ads fail to feel real — and how you avoid it? We'll ignore generic reels. We're reading for the brain behind the work.
