Creative Video Editor for Kids’ YouTube Channel (Ongoing, 2x/Week)

I am looking for a creative and reliable video editor to join my team for an ongoing, long-term project. We produce engaging, story-driven content for a kids' YouTube channel, and I am looking for a partner who can take our scripts and bring them to life with high energy and professional polish. If you are passionate about storytelling, sound design, and creating visual experiences that keep children entertained, I’d love to hear from you. You will have significant creative freedom to interpret our scripts—we want an editor who proactively suggests visual ideas, pacing improvements, and thematic audio to enhance the narrative. Responsibilities: Transform provided scripts and audio assets into cohesive, engaging videos. Manage sound design, music selection, and pacing. Utilize creative discretion to enhance visual storytelling (animations, stock footage, or creative transitions). Production Schedule: We are aiming for a consistent output of 2 videos per week. Maintain consistent branding and tone across all uploads. Requirements: Proven experience in video editing (Kids' content experience is a major plus). Strong sense of narrative pacing and "kid-friendly" visual aesthetics. Proficiency in your preferred editing software. Proactive communication—you are a creative partner who takes ownership of the final result. Paid Trial Period: To ensure we are a great fit, this project will begin with a paid trial period. You will be hired to produce [Insert Number, e.g., 2] videos at your standard rate to demonstrate your workflow, creative style, and ability to meet our 2-video-per-week production schedule.
