Job Description: We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Credentialing Assistant to support our growing healthcare credentialing team. This role will work directly with the Credentialing Manager and focus exclusively on provider credentialing, CAQH management, provider enrollment, and application follow-up. This position begins with a 45-day paid trial period to evaluate performance, communication, attention to detail, and overall fit with the team. Based on the evaluation and business needs, the role may transition into a long-term part-time or full-time position. Responsibilities: Manage and maintain provider CAQH profiles, including updates and attestations. Prepare, submit, and track provider credentialing and recredentialing applications. Follow up with insurance companies regarding application status and outstanding requirements. Assist with provider onboarding and enrollment processes. Collect and organize provider documentation, including licenses, certifications, malpractice insurance, and other credentialing requirements. Maintain accurate credentialing trackers and ensure timely follow-up on pending applications. Communicate professionally with providers, insurance payers, and internal team members. Support the Credentialing Manager with day-to-day credentialing operations and administrative tasks. Qualifications: Experience in healthcare provider credentialing or provider enrollment is preferred. Knowledge of CAQH and the provider credentialing process. Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal English communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines. Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace. Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently in a remote environment. Trial Period & Growth Opportunity: 45-day paid trial period. Regular feedback and performance evaluation throughout the trial. Opportunity to transition into a long-term part-time or full-time position based on performance, reliability, and business needs. Work directly with the Credentialing Manager and gain hands-on experience in healthcare provider enrollment and credentialing.
