Culinary Consultant / Menu Developer

We are looking for an experienced chef or culinary professional to help develop menus and recipes for a high-volume cafeteria and catering operation. This is a remote position focused on creating flavorful, cost-effective recipes that are easy to execute in a commercial kitchen and hold well on a buffet. Responsibilities Develop creative menus for high-volume food service. Create and test recipes that are easy to scale. Ensure recipes maintain quality during buffet or steam-table service. Keep food costs low without sacrificing flavor. Write clear, easy-to-follow recipes for kitchen staff. Identify allergens and accommodate common dietary needs. Work with our management team to refine recipes and menus. Qualifications Experience as a chef, sous chef, kitchen manager, or menu developer. Strong understanding of catering, cafeterias, or other high-volume food service. Knowledge of recipe scaling, food costing, and yield management. Experience creating recipes that perform well in buffet or held-service environments. Strong written English and attention to detail. Comfortable using spreadsheets and digital documents.
