Custom Payroll Software Developer - Australia Compliance + Dual Currency

Job to start in a few months, AUDITING ONLY for now. We are looking for an experienced developer to build a custom payroll management system tailored to Australian employment law and employment law from another country (we will give information about this, no knowledge required). Currently managing payroll via Excel and need for an automated system (annual leave loading calculation, long service leave, etc.). Some important notes: - dual currency required in the same payslip - compliance with ATO's payroll rules - Superannuation calculation and automated payment to Superfunds through QuickSuper - Single Touch Payroll (STP) Phase 2 - ATO tax withholding (PAYG) - Modern awards support and automated calculation - Custom pay item/allowances - reporting (superannuation, leave balances, etc.) THE IDEAL CANDIDATE would have: - proven experience building Australian payroll systems - familiarity with Superstream or super clearing house integration - knowledge of STP Phase 2 reporting requirements - Experience with ATO portals or API integrations - Portfolio or references for similar projects PROJECT TYPE: fixed price (open to discussion) + completion based.
