About the Role We're looking for a confident, organised, and customer-focused Customer Service & Dispatch Coordinator to be the first point of contact for our customers. This role is entirely phone-based and requires someone who can remain calm under pressure, gather accurate information, verify whether we can complete the job, coordinate with our technicians, and confidently guide customers through the booking process. Many of our callers are in stressful situations, such as being locked out of their vehicle or losing their only key. Your ability to reassure customers, communicate clearly, and provide confidence that we have a solution is essential. Key Responsibilities Answer incoming customer calls professionally and efficiently. Collect accurate vehicle information, including registration, make, model, year, and location. Cross-reference customer vehicle information against technician databases, programming equipment, and tool coverage to confirm whether we can complete the job. Liaise with technicians to verify vehicle compatibility, availability, and job requirements. Provide customers with accurate pricing and explain the service process. Secure payment over the phone once the job has been confirmed. Schedule and dispatch jobs to the appropriate technician. Accurately record all customer information, payments, and job details within our systems. Keep customers informed throughout the booking process with professionalism and empathy. What We're Looking For Excellent telephone manner and communication skills. Ability to remain calm and reassuring when speaking with distressed or frustrated customers. Strong attention to detail and confidence working with technical information. Comfortable using multiple computer systems and databases simultaneously. Excellent organisational and multitasking skills. Professional, reliable, and able to work independently. Previous experience in customer service, dispatch, call handling, or the automotive industry is an advantage but not essential. The Ideal Candidate You enjoy solving problems and helping people.
