Customer Support Specialist (US-Based | Evening CET Coverage)

Job Description: We are looking for a professional and dependable US-Based Customer Support Specialist to join our team and provide coverage during evening hours in Central European Time (CET). The primary responsibility of this role is reviewing customer-submitted receipts, validating details, and ensuring accuracy based on company guidelines. This position is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, excellent judgment, and the ability to work efficiently while maintaining high accuracy standards. You will also assist customers through email, chat, and support tickets when needed. Responsibilities: Review and validate customer-submitted receipts accurately Check receipts for completeness, authenticity, and compliance with guidelines Identify duplicate, incorrect, or suspicious submissions Respond to customer inquiries via email, live chat, and ticket systems Resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently Escalate complex or urgent issues when necessary Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and reviews Provide coverage during evening CET hours Requirements: Must be based in the United States Strong attention to detail and ability to spot inconsistencies Previous customer support, admin, moderation, or review experience preferred Excellent written and verbal English communication skills Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Reliable internet connection and dedicated workspace Comfortable working schedules aligned with evening CET / daytime US hours Ability to work independently and consistently Preferred Qualifications: Experience reviewing documents, receipts, claims, or transactions Familiarity with Zendesk, Freshdesk, Gorgias, or similar tools E-commerce or fintech support experience Experience handling high-volume workflows Position Type: Part-time or Full-time Long-term opportunity for the right candidate
