Customer Support Specialist — Telehealth & Wellness (Long-Term Contract) OVERVIEW A fast-growing telehealth and wellness company is hiring for a customer support specialist to manage patient communications across all channels. The role involves responding to inbound messages, helping patients navigate their care journey, and ensuring every interaction reflects the quality and trust the brand stands for. This is a long-term, ongoing contract with full-time hours. The ideal contractor is reliable, empathetic, a strong communicator, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment. WHAT THE ROLE INVOLVES - Responding to patient inquiries via email, SMS, live chat, and social DMs - Helping patients with intake questions, order status, treatment info, and account issues - Escalating clinical or complex issues to the appropriate internal team - Logging interactions in the CRM (GoHighLevel) and keeping communication records clean - Proactively following up with patients who need onboarding support - Flagging recurring issues and patterns to the ops team LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO HAS - 2+ years of experience in customer support or a patient/client-facing role - Excellent written English — warm, clear, and professional - Experience with CRM tools; GoHighLevel is a plus - Background in healthcare, telehealth, or wellness is preferred but not required - Familiarity with HIPAA or handling sensitive health information - Strong reliability, attention to detail, and ability to work independently
