Summary

We are looking for a highly experienced DevSecOps / Cybersecurity & Fraud Prevention Engineer to help secure and scale a high-volume ecommerce operation specialized in digital products and marketplace infrastructure. This is a mission-critical role focused on protecting our platform, payment systems, seller ecosystem, and revenue through a proactive, scalable, and automated security + fraud prevention framework. We are building a marketplace where security is not optional — it is core to the business. About Us We operate in the digital products space, selling digital goods at scale (gift cards, subscriptions, gaming products, digital codes, etc.), with plans to further expand our marketplace infrastructure. Because of the nature of digital products, fraud risk is significantly higher than in traditional ecommerce, making security, fraud prevention, and account protection essential from day one. Responsibilities 1. Fraud Prevention & Risk Scoring (Pre-Payment) One of the biggest priorities is implementing a proactive fraud prevention layer before payment completion. Currently, our fraud prevention relies heavily on manual processes and post-payment reviews. We want to evolve toward a real-time automated risk engine. 2. Payment Fraud & Chargeback Prevention You will help design and implement systems for: Chargeback prevention Transaction risk scoring Suspicious payment detection Payment abuse mitigation Refund abuse prevention Automated fraud decisioning Platform Security & Infrastructure (Critical) Beyond payment fraud, platform security is one of the most critical areas. A major risk for us is seller account compromise. If an attacker gains access to a seller account and steals digital inventory (codes/stock), losses could be massive and severely impact business continuity. 4. Account Security & Access Management Every critical account should follow strict security standards. Fraud Operations & Risk Management Today, fraud and disputes are partially handled manually across different team members. We want to evolve toward a: Centralized fraud management system Specialized fraud operations framework Dynamic rule optimization process Preventive rather than reactive fraud handling model.
