Summary

We are a cybersecurity startup looking for a freelance SDR / outbound sales rep to help us approach prospects, run cold outreach, and book qualified meetings. This role is focused on execution: reaching out to relevant prospects, starting conversations, following up consistently, and helping us create new sales opportunities. What you’ll work on: - Cold outreach to cybersecurity decision-makers - LinkedIn outreach and connection requests - Cold calling relevant prospects - Following up with warm leads from events, campaigns, and existing lists - Qualifying prospects based on company fit, role, pain points, and interest - Booking meetings for our leadership / sales team - Updating HubSpot with outreach activity, replies, call notes, and next steps - Sharing feedback on which messages, objections, and buyer personas are working Target personas may include: - CISOs - Security Directors - SOC Managers - Detection & Response leaders - Threat Hunting / Incident Response leaders - IT Security leaders - Enterprise security buyers Ideal candidate: - Experience as an SDR / BDR in B2B SaaS, cybersecurity, IT, or technical sales - Comfortable with cold calling and LinkedIn outreach - Able to write clear, professional, personalized messages - Strong follow-up discipline - Can understand and explain technical products at a high level - Comfortable working with HubSpot or similar CRM - Good spoken and written English - Self-managed, persistent, and organized What good work looks like: - Prospects are approached professionally and consistently - Follow-ups happen on time - HubSpot is updated after every meaningful interaction - Meetings booked are relevant and ICP-fit - We get clear feedback from the market: objections, messaging that works, and common buyer questions
