Graphic Designer Needed – Modern Martial Arts Student Passport & Achievement System

About Us We are a martial arts academy based in Manchester, UK. For many years our students have used traditional martial arts grading record books to track: Belt Promotions Awards Courses Attended Seminars Student Records We are now upgrading this system into a modern Student Development Passport that combines personal development, achievement recognition, martial arts progression and traditional grading records. The curriculum, achievement framework and educational content have already been developed. We are looking for a talented designer to transform our existing concepts into a professional, engaging and print-ready product. Vision We want to create a passport system that becomes a treasured record of a student's martial arts journey. The final product should feel more like a premium achievement passport than a workbook. Children should be excited to bring it to class. Parents should enjoy reviewing it at home. Instructors should find it useful for recognising progress, achievements and milestones. The passport should become something families keep long after the student has completed the programme. This is not simply a grading record book. It is a complete student development and achievement system. Project Overview The project consists of two related student passports: Positive Start Passport (Ages 4–8) Warrior Passport (Ages 9–12) The Warrior Passport should feel like a natural progression from Positive Start whilst remaining part of the same overall system. You will not be starting from a blank page. This is primarily a design and presentation project rather than a curriculum development project. PRODUCT 1 Positive Start Passport (Ages 4–8) Positive Start is our personal development programme for younger students. Sticker Collection System Students collect achievement stickers for areas such as: Focus Listening Respect Courage Effort Attendance Teamwork Helping Others Designer will create: Sticker concepts Sticker collection layouts Reward pages Achievement layouts Parent Progress Pages Simple progress pages allowing instructors to demonstrate development and progress. Grading Record Section Traditional martial arts grading records. Awards & Achievement Section Event & Course Attendance Section Certificate Section PRODUCT 2 Warrior Passport (Ages 9–12) The Warrior Passport is the next stage in the development journey. The design should feel more mature, aspirational and achievement focused.
