We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented data entry freelancer to assist with a daily morning legal research task. Every day, you will receive a list of criminal cases with names and case numbers. See attached instructions. Key Responsibilities 1. Manual Case Lookup: Search provided case numbers one-by-one on. 2. Attorney Check: Review the Parties section for each case: o If the defendant already has an attorney listed, delete that row entry from the spreadsheet. o If the defendant does not have an attorney listed, proceed to the next step. 3. Address Extraction: Open the filed Complaint or Citation PDF for the case, locate the defendant’s mailing address, and extract the information. 4. Data Entry: Enter the address details into the daily spreadsheet, separating Street Address, City, State, and Zip Code into distinct cells. 5. Daily Delivery: Complete and submit the updated spreadsheet every morning by 5:00 AM CST. Requirements • High attention to detail and accuracy. • Ability to consistently meet a daily morning deadline (5:00 AM CST). • Familiarity with Google Sheets / Microsoft Excel. • Strict Requirement: All work must be completed manually. Automated scraping scripts, bots, or web scrapers are strictly prohibited. Compensation • Fixed Rate: $300 USD / month (recurring monthly contract).
