About the Role DealMaker's Marketing Services team runs a managed capital-raise marketing service for issuers, supported by a Looker-based data infrastructure. We need a hands-on data analyst who can own the layer between our data team's infrastructure and our marketing team's day-to-day reporting needs — someone who can both catch problems before they reach a client and build the tools our team needs to do their jobs well. This is not a data generalist role. We need someone who understands paid media and campaign performance data natively: attribution windows, channel taxonomy, ROAS, and funnel modeling. What You'll Do QA all Looker dashboards and the campaign forecast Explore before outputs reach strategists or clients, catching data errors, discrepancies, and attribution issues using paid media domain expertise Build new dashboards for the marketing team on request, translating ad hoc reporting needs into clean, usable Looker views Verify and maintain data connections, ensuring integrations (ad platforms, CRM, campaign data feeds) are set up correctly and functioning properly on an ongoing basis Develop and refine LookML to support new fields, fallback logic, and reporting structures Serve as the point of contact between the marketing team and the core data team — scoping, tagging, and prioritizing requests before they're escalated Produce plain-language performance summaries for internal and client-facing use What We're Looking For Proven experience owning a Looker implementation or migration end-to-end (not just using Looker, but building and maintaining it) Strong LookML skills Background in paid media / performance marketing analytics — you know what a ROAS number, funnel stage, or attribution model should look like before it hits a dashboard Comfort working independently across two teams (data infrastructure and marketing operations) and translating between them Detail-oriented; QA and data integrity are a core part of this role, not an afterthought Nice to Have Experience with HubSpot data integration Experience with GA (Google Analytics) session/attribution modeling Familiarity with sponsored content or partnership marketing data structures
