Data Analyst Needed – SQL Data Extraction & Power BI Dashboard for Sales Reporting

We are a retail business with our transactional data stored in a relational database (SQL Server). We need an analyst who can write efficient SQL queries to extract and transform the data, then build a clean, interactive Power BI dashboard for our management team. What I need: Write SQL queries to extract and join data from 4–5 tables (orders, customers, products, regions, returns) Transform and aggregate the data (monthly summaries, YoY comparisons, category breakdowns) Build a Power BI dashboard with: Revenue and profit trends (monthly/quarterly) Regional sales performance map Product category breakdown Return rate analysis Dashboard should be clean, filter-friendly, and usable by non-technical staff Tech stack: Database: SQL Server (we will share read-only credentials) Visualization: Power BI Desktop (.pbix file as deliverable) Data size: ~50,000 rows across 5 tables Deliverables: Documented SQL scripts (.sql file) Power BI dashboard file (.pbix) 1-page summary of key findings Timeline: 7–10 days
