Data Analyst

Data Analyst / SQL & AWS Support Needed I am looking for a data analyst to support a client analytics project. The main work will involve writing SQL queries, cleaning and manipulating data, validating outputs, and supporting data workflows in an AWS environment. I will be the lead consultant responsible for client communication, project scope, business requirements, and overall project impact. Your role will be execution-focused: helping translate requirements into accurate queries, data tables, and analysis-ready outputs. Responsibilities * Write and optimize SQL queries * Clean, transform, and validate datasets * Support data manipulation and QA checks * Work with AWS tools such as S3, Athena, Lambda, Glue, and related cloud data services * Help ensure data accuracy, consistency, and efficiency * Document logic clearly so outputs can be reviewed and maintained Ideal Experience * Strong SQL skills * Experience working in AWS data environments * Familiarity with S3, Athena, Lambda, Glue, or similar tools * Strong attention to detail and data accuracy * Comfortable working under direction and executing clearly defined tasks * Able to communicate blockers early and document assumptions clearly Trial Period The initial trial period will be 10 hours per week for 2 weeks. If the collaboration goes well and I am satisfied with the quality of work, reliability, and fit for the scope, there is potential to increase both the hourly rate and weekly hours. This is a support role for a lead consultant. I am looking for someone reliable, detail-oriented, and execution-focused who can help move the technical work forward efficiently.
