Data Entry & Software QA Specialist

Born in a mechanic shop and raised in the cloud, we are a fast-growing software startup on a mission to revolutionize how automotive maintenance is tracked, managed, and optimized. We are bridging the gap between traditional automotive expertise and modern technology. We are currently looking for a detail-oriented Data Entry & Software QA Specialist to help us digitize, organize, and migrate historical client vehicle maintenance data into our brand-new proprietary platform. Because you will be working directly with software in development, your insights won't just move data—they will help shape our product. Key Responsibilities Data Collection & Organization: Sift through, clean, and organize large volumes of historical vehicle maintenance records, ensuring high accuracy and zero data loss. Data Migration: Efficiently upload and migrate structured data into our proprietary software platform currently under development. Platform Maintenance: Keep the database live and up to date as new maintenance data is acquired. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with developers, product managers, and shop team members to align on priorities, meet deadlines, and fulfill data objectives. Product Feedback Loop: Act as an internal beta tester. Provide constructive, actionable feedback regarding the software’s user interface (UI), user experience (UX), and bugs to help improve the platform before launch. Required Skills & Qualifications Communication & Language C1/C2 English Proficiency: Exceptional written and oral English skills are mandatory. You will be interpreting complex maintenance logs and collaborating with an English-speaking team. Technical & Data Skills High-Speed, High-Accuracy Typing: Proven ability to input data quickly without sacrificing accuracy (alphanumeric data entry). Data Literacy: Familiarity with data organization tools (e.g., advanced Excel, Google Sheets, or Airtable) and basic data cleaning techniques. Reporting: Familiarity with Google Docs and Trello to create reports and keep track of daily tasks. Technical Curiosity: An aptitude for learning new software quickly and a proactive mindset toward identifying system glitches or UX bottlenecks. Soft Skills Obsessive Attention to Detail: A misplaced digit can mean the difference between an oil change and a transmission swap. You spot the details others miss. Startup Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where processes are evolving and priorities might shift. Proactive Collaboration: Strong communication skills to effectively voice system feedback and coordinate tasks with co-workers. Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves) Automotive/Mechanic Knowledge: Prior experience working in a mechanic shop, parts store, or a strong personal passion for cars. QA/Testing Experience: Basic experience in software beta testing, bug reporting, or user acceptance testing (UAT).
