Data Entry Specialist for Rally

Overview We are looking for a detail-oriented freelancer to help maintain project data, create user stories and tasks in project management system - Rally, and track actual labor hours against project estimates. This is an ongoing part-time remote position with appx 5-10 hours per week. Responsibilities Project Setup in Rally, review project estimating spreadsheets and check project information including: o Shop labor hours o Installation labor hours o Material pricing o Shipping date Create User Stories and Tasks in Rally and ensure projects are structured consistently according to our standards. Labor Tracking • Download labor reports from QuickBooks Time (QB Time Tracking) every day. • Review actual hours worked by project. • Enter and update actual labor hours in Rally. • Track estimated vs. actual hours. Reporting & Data Management • Maintain accurate project records. • Generate project status updates when requested. • Ensure data consistency between Excel, Rally, and QuickBooks Time. • Assist with project performance tracking and labor utilization reporting. Qualifications Required • Strong attention to detail. • Experience with data entry and data management. • Microsoft Excel skills. • Ability to work independently and accurately. • Strong organizational skills. • Excellent written communication. Preferred not required • Experience with Rally (CA Agile Central / Broadcom Rally). • Experience with QuickBooks Time (TSheets). • Experience working with manufacturing, construction, millwork, cabinetry, or production environments. Schedule • Part-time remote position. • Flexible work hours. • Approximately 5–10 hours per week to start. • Ongoing long-term opportunity for the right person. What Success Looks Like The ideal candidate will help us maintain accurate project tracking by ensuring: • Every project is properly created in Rally. • Estimated labor hours are accurately entered. • Actual labor hours are updated daily • Management can easily compare estimated vs. actual project performance.
