Data Entry: Transcribe Handwritten Contacts into Excel (Specific Formatting Rules)
Worldwide
I have 2 single high-resolution scanned documents containing roughly 300 handwritten contacts, phone numbers, and notes. The handwriting is dense, non-linear, and difficult to read. I need a meticulous data entry specialist to manually transcribe these entries into an Excel or Google Sheets spreadsheet, applying specific formatting rules to identify textable cell phone numbers. **Formatting & Logic Rules:** 1. **Identify Number Types:** The handwritten notes use specific letters next to numbers. You must categorize them in a "Type" column based on these rules: * **C** = Cell / Mobile (High Priority) * **O** = Office * **W** = Work 2. **Handle Missing Area Codes:** If a phone number is written as a local 7-digit number without a three-digit prefix, you must automatically prepend the area code **seven-eight-five** to the front of it. 3. **Target Mobile Numbers:** Create a dedicated, clean column specifically for Mobile numbers so I can easily filter for textable contacts. **Required Spreadsheet Columns:** * Company / Category * Name * Cell Number (Formatted with area code) * Office/Work Number * Additional Notes (Addresses, dates, or context written next to the name) #### **Requirements:** * **Flawless Accuracy:** If a phone number is off by a single digit, the data is useless. You must double-check your work. * **Experience with Bad Handwriting:** You must be comfortable navigating messy, non-linear page layouts and tight cursive. * **Rule Adherence:** You must strictly follow the area code and number-type logic outlined above. To apply, please start your proposal by confirming you understand the rules for handling missing area codes and what "C", "O", and "W" stand for.
